About me

Hi, I'm Gemma.

I love to write, research and edit. I specialise in penning stories that are designed to be read out loud and listened to, as well as crafting effective web content that is a pleasure to read.

I’m fascinated by people and what makes them tick. With a Bachelor of Social Science (Psychology) under my belt, as well as graduating with distinction with a Master of Social Science (Criminology), and a Diploma in Business Management, I have over a decade of experience working within the Australian government sector, specifically in human services, client service, mental health, disability, and investigations. It was during this time that I had plenty of opportunities to really hone my writing, research, interviewing and analytical skills.

My unique blend of experience has led to a keen interest in writing and researching for podcasts, as well as web content. To date, I’ve written over 200 episodes for multiple non fiction podcasts and YouTube. There’s nothing like gathering facts and telling a good story – whether it’s a podcast or crafting a web article for a specific target audience, the principles are the same.

Do you have a podcast?

I currently write for highly successful, globally renowned non-fiction podcasts...but there's always room for one more.
