In 1972, in New Jersey, 16-year-old high school student Jeannette DePalma was found dead. Officials couldn’t be sure but it was theorised that she was strangled to death. Local rumours quickly surfaced that Jeannette was murdered by Satanists and was a human sacrifice as part of a devil-worshipping ceremony.
