REYKJAVIK, ICELAND | I researched and wrote this episode, which begins on a foggy, winter evening in 2017, when a 20-year-old woman headed home from a bar alone and was never seen again. Though the streets of Reykjavik are typically very safe, a horrible thing happened that night to someone who was just looking to let loose with her friends. But when police gathered surveillance footage around the area, a suspicious vehicle by a boat setting sail from a harbour stood out to them.
