On the Labor Day weekend of 1982, 12-year-old Johnny Gosch disappeared from West Des Moines, Iowa. He was last seen collecting newspapers for his paper route from a paper drop in the early morning. But Johnny never finished the route or made it back home.
This is a case that has fascinated amateur sleuths for years as much as it has baffled the investigators who have worked the case. Many believe, including Johnny’s mother, that he was abducted and sold into a child sex trafficking ring. There are many different theories about what may have happened to Johnny.
