SUFFOLK, UNITED KINGDOM | I researched and wrote this episode, which begins in late December 1980, when a series of unexplained lights appeared near a US military base in England. The events took place over two nights and were captured by security personnel in detailed written documents and audio recordings. The case was dubbed ‘the British Roswell’, but unlike the events in New Mexico, what happened in Rendlesham Forest wasn’t classified.
