In late 1994, Revelle Balmain disappeared from the Sydney suburb of Kingsford. The talented dancer, model, and part-time escort was due to meet up with a friend for a drink after seeing a client. But Revelle never made it. When her belongings were found scattered about residential streets in Kingsford a couple of days after she went missing, concerns for her welfare grew.
Many have criticised the authorities for not doing enough in the early days of Revelle’s disappearance to interview people and collect evidence. In the years since, NSW Police have said they believe Revelle was murdered. But even though there have been some persons of interest throughout the investigation, no one has been held responsible for her death.
